Finding Beauties in Times of Uncertain

“Would each one of you, our prayer partners and supporters send us what is beauty in your life?”

Where do we look for beauty in times of uncertainty? Of course, we look to God. He gave us poetry, the brilliant hues of a Renoir, the beauty in His creations, the fields of tulips, the green shoots of the tea leaves, the birds in the sky of blue and clouds of white, the rainbow colors of the ocean waves, the gentle movements of a koi fish as it swim and countless more. We should take time to appreciate these all. I had the treasure of resting and recovering at my sister’s home, of visiting families and old friends. It was springtime in the US and you can’t ignore it if you try, the greening of the trees, the blooming of the red roses too. As you may have gleaned, I borrowed phrases from a song that was created in the backdrop of the assassination of President John F Kennedy, the oil crisis of the ‘70s, the Vietnam war and many other conflicts. In one way or another, we’ve been there before and we’ll be there again. Here’s the lyric of the song that I find beauty in:
